Refund Policy

Effective 29 July 2026

This page explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work on CineDwell. It doesn't replace our Terms of Service — section 11 there covers the same ground — this is the fuller, plain-language version.

1. How billing works

Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Your billing period starts the day you subscribe and renews on the same date each month until you cancel. Listing allowances reset each period and don’t carry over if unused.

2. Your first listing is free

New agents can submit one active listing and receive one free, watermarked sample package with no payment card required. Because no payment is taken, there is nothing to refund on a free listing — if something goes wrong with it, contact us and we’ll fix it or issue a new trial credit.

3. Cancelling a subscription

Cancel any time from your billing settings — this opens Stripe’s billing portal, where cancellation is one click. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep access to your remaining listing allowance and everything already delivered until then. We don’t bill you again after that period ends.

4. What we refund

Delivery is automated and instant, so most of the usual reasons a service issues a refund — a slow delivery, a missed deadline — don’t apply here. We refund the charge for a listing, or restore the allowance it consumed, when:

  • A technical failure on our side means a marketing package was never generated for a listing you submitted.
  • You were charged for a plan or listing you didn't authorize (e.g. a duplicate charge).
  • A delivered package is substantively broken — for example, missing sections, or containing another listing's details — and we can't correct it within a reasonable time.

Report it within 14 days of the charge at cinedwell.ai@gmail.com with your account email and the listing address, and we'll investigate and respond within a few business days.

5. What we don't refund

  • Partial months — cancelling mid-period stops future billing, but we don't pro-rate or refund the period already paid for.
  • Unused listing allowance left on the plan when a period ends or you cancel.
  • A successfully delivered package you're simply not satisfied with creatively — you get a revision round under Terms section 10, not a refund.
  • Results — how a listing performs once marketed (inquiries, showings, offers) isn't something we control or guarantee, so it isn't grounds for a refund.

6. How a refund is paid

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method via Stripe. Stripe and your bank typically take 5–10 business days to post it after we issue it. Where we restore a listing allowance instead of a cash refund, that happens immediately in your account.

7. Chargebacks

If something's wrong with a charge, please email us before filing a chargeback with your bank — we can usually resolve billing issues faster directly, and a chargeback on an active subscription may result in the account being paused while it's investigated.

8. Your consumer rights

Nothing on this page limits any refund or cancellation right that mandatory consumer law in your country or state gives you. Where local law grants stronger rights than this policy, those rights apply.

9. Requesting a refund

Email cinedwell.ai@gmail.com with the account email on the subscription, the listing address (if applicable), and a short description of what happened. Include the charge date if you have it — it's on your Stripe receipt email or in the billing portal.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product changes. Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. This version is effective 29 July 2026.
